Our preschool is housed in a building in our garden. Here children follow a routine that contains a balance between adult-led and children-led play.
Children have access to a host of resources and learning challenges set by the staff in their monthly planning following different themes such as the natural world or festivals.
Circle times begin to prepare them for school by including phonics, letters and sounds, as well as specific activities related to the 7 areas of learning, with a particular emphasis on the three prime areas: 1) PSED - Personal Social and Emotional Development - 2) Physical Development and 3) Communication and Literacy.
Physical activities are provided every day, this includes dancing, access to the outdoors free-flow area, the indoor ball pool or the back garden.
